1. Exchange of programmes between Akashvani Maitree & Betar begins from December

The Director-General of All India Radio, Fayyaz Shehryar announced that exchange of programmes between Akashvani Maitree and Bangladesh Betar will begin from 1st of December 2019. A MOU was signed between India and Bangladesh on 2016.

1. RBI approves reappointment of Shyam Srinivasan as Federal Bank CEO

Reserve Bank of India has approved the re-appointment of Shyam Srinivasan as the Managing Director and CEO of Federal Bank for another year, giving him a full decade as the head of the private sector lender.

2. Asian Development Bank President Takehiko Nakao resigns

Asian Development Bank President, Takehiko Nakao has announced his resignation which will be effective from January 16 next year. During his tenure, he expanded the operations of the funding agency from USD 14 bn in 2013 to USD 22 bn in 2018.

Government has appointed Air Marshal RKS Bhadauria as the new chief of Indian Air Force to serve for a 3-year term or till the age of 62. He is the current Vice- chief of Air Staff & takes over the post from his predecessor BS Dhanoa.
