1. Unilever achieves 100% renewable electricity use target across five continents

Global consumer goods firm Unilever achieved 100% renewable electricity usage at its offices, factories and other facilities across five continents in line with its target to become a carbon-neutral company by 2030.

2. Reliance Power with Japan’s JERA to set up a power plant in Bangladesh

Reliance Power signed a deal with JERA for jointly setting up 750 Mw gas-based combined cycle power project (Phase-1) in Meghnaghat, Bangladesh. RPower will hold 51% stake while JERA will have 49% in the joint venture company.

3. WHO South-East Asia Region sets 2023 target to eliminate measles, rubella

The member countries of WHO South-East Asia Region resolved to eliminate measles and rubella by 2023 to prevent deaths and disabilities caused by the highly infectious childhood killer diseases.
